Have you ever seen an AE tutorial made in a high-end explainer style? That was the approach I took on this project to get a high ROI.
The Challenge…
One of the biggest problems I had was keeping the retention graph up, which is the most important metric across media in the moment. Coming up with something striking and different was the goal, so I took the approach of making an explainer-style video with playful animations, flashy colors, and aggressive texturing that looks like nothing else out there. I kept the identity consistent throughout the whole project, which paid off very well.
Cursor Design
I made sure that the cursor feels like an actual living creature! it has a weight to it. A personality and a charm that the audience will defiantly feel, making it easy to tell what is going through “this cursor’s mind.”
